I built this for the inaugural "Last Open Road" proxy. There was some controversy over the body. Was it a 120 or 140? The box said 120 but the shape was more 140. The car was accepted and raced into third place overall. I was more than happy with that. Gussets made of hotdog stick support the body posts. Ground clearance was a stringent 3/32". I made a screen surround from music wire and glued the clear sections to the inner edge. The central pillar goes into the body. This arrangement acted like a roll bar as it was strong.

One of the big difference/most obvious differences was the front bumper. The XK120 had a separate bumper each side of the grille, the XK140 had a one piece bumper. I'm sure there are other differences.
