I see that George is introducing a sidewinder version of his Thomas Cheetah. This is an example which I built a year or so back, which does actually have wheel inserts now.
The chassis is a slightly modified Slot it Ferrari 312PB. The wheelbase was perhaps a millimetre out, the track was spot on. The only mods required were the guide, which has to be moved back some way (even so, it was a tight fit, as can be seen), and general chassis trimming.
A bit disappointing on the track, but I put that down to the driver.
