I was very keen to build a testarossa and had a couple of Strombecker shells on hand. It was early in my slot education and I was unaware of the scale issues of the body. I built it, showed it and after one comment about the scale my world tumbled and I dismantled the car and reassigned the parts.

An easy mistake to make. I know, I made it too.
Fortunately as I was measuring up for the chassis, the scaled dimensions and the measured ones from the body didn't tie in together. Pity.
Peter.

I know this is a forum dedicated to scale models, but I do think the scale police need to ease up a bit at times. They can come over all heavy handed and devastate someone who is proudly showing their pride and joy that they have laboured on with love.
I think it's a shame the Testarossa got disassembled Munter. It's a lovely finish. The scale inaccuracies of a commercial shell are not your fault.
