Whilst I have never been a fan of the Lotus 30 or 40, I've always liked one of its contemporaries in the shape of the Cooper Monaco (originally). Some while back I made a start on one of these, and always liking to be a little different, decided on a Cooper Chevrolet. Information on all the Monacos can be found on these two sites. www.racingsportscars.com/make/Cooper.htmlwww.wsrp.cz/chassis/chassis_cooper.htmlThis is the driver, Norm Evendon. The car I decided to model is a T61M chassis #CM/3/64 a car exported to the USA as a rolling chassis. This is the car in I believe, 1965. The basis for this build is a Monogram/MRRC body with the benefit of an original Monogram interior. Most work to date has related to the bodywork which is now almost completed. Altered arches, tail end and nose involved most work together with apertures here and there deleted or added. A little tidying up, some work to the rear panel and a spoiler then it is there. More in a few minutes. Peter.

Part 2, I ran out of picture capacity. The item which revived the project was the next double reduction drive, slimline sidewinder style. A tight fit. I hope to make a start on the chassis proper in due course. So many projects.... The aim is to finish it in time for the first club night after lockdown. Peter.
