Chevron B12 Repco built-chassis and cockpit

Hello members,

I present you the GMC kit of Chevron B12.

In 1968 the Team John Woolfe Racing entered in the Class SP 2500/3000-cc this Chevron B12, specially modified to fit the Repco V8 2991cc engine, at Le Mans 24-hour Race. John Woolfe and co-driver Digby Martland retire on the 27th lap (3rd hour) because of a engine overheating problem.

The Slot Car
The bodywork is retouched at the rear. The chassis is composed of two parts. The forward one includes the cockpit and the lower engine compartment partition. The upper part of the partition is glued to the bodywork. The rear part supports the mechanics as well as the articulation of the bonnet. The bonnet is fixed at the roof.

That's a great looking car J-P. The chassis is that different that it has my vote, and the inlet manifold sitting on top of the motor is a great finishing touch.

I've always had a soft spot for Chevrons since a friend NEARLY bought a BMW powered car (B8?) for racing purposes, of course.
