David,
Fantastic photo's of a stunning car. Love the added detail on both your builds.
What colour did you use for the seats and what did you use for the clear coat? Is the yellow stripe painted or decal?
Cheers.

Thanks Brian. For the seats I used Tamiya flat red mixed with a little Tamiya brown and then highlighted with thinned down flat red. Neither car is clear coated - for '60s and earlier cars I prefer the finish of the paint as I think it reflects better the way the cars looked then. Having said I clear coated the Ferrari 312 on the F1 Forum as I wanted to avoid the decals disappearing during the proxy races. The yellow stripes are decals; George provides two types in the kits, the other ones cover the lower nose but they're not appropriate for the two versions I built.
Best Regards
David

Very nice build David, I am a sucker for the Lotus it has always been a favorite of mine since the Sixties. I have a restored Cox version and several other 32 versions.
I like you you profile pic, assume you managed to get enough from the decal sheets?

Hi Phil
Thanks for the compliment. The decals for the Lister worked very well thanks - more than enough for one car, the rest will come in handy for something else!
Best Regards

Two beautiful cars, David. I am finally about to start working on a ProtoSlot Lotus 40 that has resided in my "Pending Projects" cupboard for more years than I care to divulge. It is pre-painted, so will make a perfect winter project car as I cannot spray paint outdoors at this time of year (and never indoors). Today it is -20C!
