This is a build started perhaps 10 years ago. Most cars back then were sold in order to pay for the hobby, but this one stayed, a good job too. This car was based on my everyday transport back in the late 70's. The model was based around my usual aluminium chassis, but back then they usually has Airfix steering units adapted to fit. on this car only the steering knuckles were used as it was so narrow. Homebrew wheels and MRRC tyres. The guide was also MRRC. Below is the car almost in its present day form. These days the rear tyres are urethane replacements and it actually has wheel trims. By no means the fastest car I have, it is however most reliable and an essential member of my racing 'team'. Recent pictures in due course. Peter

A more up to date picture with wheel trims. I must make a tonneau cover one day to reduce the drag a little. Peter.
