The builder is a good mate who I sometimes collaborate with on slotcar matters. He has quite a collection and admits to liking the obscure, different or weird motor vehicle. eg when I first met him about five years ago, I said I remembered a Berkeley sports car driving round and he said,"that was me." Then I mentioned an Alpine, "that was me too." He has had others and also claims to have bought a Ferrari 275GTB wreck, shipped it to NZ and then repaired it by sourcing parts from the US.....before email and internet. Having seen what is in his garage and shed today I believe him.

Eclectic, indeed. What does he put under them?
