Hello people, happened to see a pic of a Lotus 62 (Lotus 47 Prototype Europa Racer) today and it reminded me I like 'em. Is there a slot body of any quality available of one? Cheers, Martin

Better change the title number, Martin.
I like them too.
I have a feeling Protoslot do or did one of these.

Apparently an outfit called Ghost Models, but I believe they only come in a form that makes them very pricey, ...painted or ready built, not sure.
I changed the number in the post, but don't know how to change what appears in the title.

To clear up confusion the Lotus 62 was the Lotus 47 Prototype Europa Racer. And this is what it looks like, and Electric Dreams has one: Ghost Model/Proto Slot GM022P Lotus Europa 1982, red. Body kit only comes painted with decals. Yours for a steal, only $86.99 Sold out at Proto Slot/Ghost Model. It's one of Christian's many sub-brands under the Proto Slot banner. He only does limited number of car runs, so most models sell out quickly. Yes it's confusing in that charming peculiar French way.

I can't keep up with all the Proto Slot/Ghost Models product. His stuff is nice, but if he only does a few low runs, it seems a waste of a master.
I also have a bone to pick with him over the Piper GTR model. He showed MY picture of MY 1/43rd scale model when he was announcing it as a forthcoming model! No harm done I suppose. I was slightly flattered, in fact. The above looks to be a typically nice model. I always liked the 62 (even if I did believe it to be the 63) Saw it race at Brands back when. Did it have a BDA in it or some such?
Cheers, Martin
