I picked up this shell some years ago. It needs quite a bit of work to clean it up and remove excess resin material as it is a slush casting from what I imagine is an original carving as some of the sanding marks are evident in the shell. I think a light rub down and a decent primer should deal with those.
It is with a degree of shock that I viewed the date of the original post. Anyway work has continued on the shell. (pictures later). I am trying to understand and therfore reproduce how the exhausts exited the body, the only clear reference I can find is a die-cast showing a row of six?? pipes exiting the rear body under the centre rear of the car. Can anyone shed some light please? Thank you. Eric
