A bit quiet here, so another build on the go shows its face. This is a car I knew little about, the four cylinder 2 litre 500TR, not a front line Ferrari. As is often the case, the car is being built as a Le Mans car, the Belgian entry of Bianchi and de Changy. The body is a Spanish copy of the MMK car, faithfully reproduced including faults! The side vents are way too small, but will probably remain as they are as I don't like the idea of respraying..... The wheels are just slaves, something a bit more accurate in due course. The chassis is pretty basic aiming for low down weight, the front end will probably end up pivoted/sprung at some time in the future. Peter.

Very nice Peter. I do like the shape and look of the 500TR. You mention the body is a Spanish copy of the MMK kit; can I ask who produces the copy?

Hi Dave.
The supplier of the 500TR body was Enric Roca Mata who can be reached at joeslot@gmail.com
This TR is one of his better kits.
Peter.
