1957 Maserati 300s
After seeing Peter's note about how slow this forum has been I thought I better dig out some of my past builds to at least contribute in some small way to this excellent website.
This was actually my first sports car build and looking at it today I am pretty horrified by some of the detail - so one day it will need to be rebuilt with some of the new ideas I have developed over time which will include a pendulum driver.
Body - Pendle's Maserati 300s Driver - Immense Miniatures
Simple wood chassis with FF050 motor on the side so full driver figure possible.
Guide lead management guy needs a good talking to... ouch!
Yes - this car does run and bears a few scars...
My early drawings for scratch builds...
The motor bracket should have been built the other way round - this gets in the way of the driver - who the heck planned this car???
Thanks for looking, Regards
Richard

It's always nice to see something a little different.
Peter.
