Prompted by Peter here are some photos of a build of the GTM Lister Jaguar kit although not quite as George intended. I decided to make the Lister driven by Archie Scott Brown in the 1958 British Empire Trophy run at Oulton Park. This meant removing the bulge on the bonnet, making a bracket for the mirror, putting an oil radiator in the nose opening and finding the right decals. For the decals Phil Kalbfell came to the rescue and made some specially for me - many thanks Phil. The running gear is entirely conventional and uses the kit resin chassis - it goes well on my track. Not exactly a scratch build but I find making a good kit a pleasant change from making everything myself, at least a result can be achieved more quickly! Best Regards David
