A single seater in a sports car forum? Hm.
But my Austin 7 works style single seater special has fenders, lights, license plates. Do you accept this as a sports car? Based on the great bodykit of the Austin Twin Cam made by George Turner, I wanted to create a car similar to this one: The GTM-kit contains of this: To get the right look, I had to close the radiator grille and the exhaust-slot in the body, and made anew grille by soldered wire Because patina has a high value today, I resisted to build a restored car and painted with severe weathering effects: To build the fenders, I used clear plastic sheet from a packaging, fixed it around a metal tube, dipped it into boiling water for some seconds and cooled it down again. For the headlights, I used an old zipper, that I have cut into two pieces, and added lenses: This is the completed car: It looks so tiny compared to the Napier Railton…. Best regards, Taffy
