This car is modelled on that driven at Donington in 1938 by Henry Porter-Hargreaves where it ran in supercharged form. The basis of the model is a purpose made aluminium chassis in which is mounted a Scalextric sport 30K RPM motor, high tensile axles, MRRC Clubman guide and a lightly sprung front axle assembly. The body is relatively standard, but does have a custom made cowling on the bonnet right hand side which would cover the Centric supercharger together with other small mods Etched wire wheels are fitted, the rear tyres are urethane. Another one finished, except of course that I've just noticed the lack of starting handle dog cover.... Peter.
