My apologies for being late getting to this. I, with the help of a lot of other people, have offered qm bodies, for a few years. This all started with my doing a Cunningham CR4 with Scott Smith. That was offered under the label of Noisy Muse, and when Scott left for other activities (and geography), we decided I would move ahead with the new label of "quiet muse," all lower case.
So far we have offered the following, (some of these are no longer available.) The goal is to offer sports racing bodies from the 40s-50s and sliding just a bit into the 60s. I try to focus on cars that interest me, to be honest, but that otherwise have not been offered before. I am also very happy to take suggestions. I think this list is fairly complete. Steve Francis, Martin Field, Graham Poulton, and others have all been very helpful in production of masters. Currently John Warren is doing the molding and the casting. I also want to mention Charles McLennan who has been so helpful with small details and Gareth Jones who did some inserts for the Panhard.
1. Cunningham CR4 (Noisy Muse) no longer in production. George Turner makes a fine casting.
2. Genie Mk 8 (slush cast)
3. Devin SS (I did the master for this and then Penelope Pitlane offered this car in their range.)
4. Ferrari 290MM
5. Ferrari 860 Monza (now in a revised lighter 2nd version. The rear of the first version is incorrect. If anyone on the forum ordered the first version, please let me know.)
6. DB Panhard LeMans 1951 #57
7 Panhard LeMans 1951-52 #61
The following should be available in April: Borgward 1952 and Borgward "Hansa" 1957.
I hope to work on a Veritas 1500 RS and an AWE/EMW to compliment the Borgwards.
After these cars and before deciding on any additional sports cars, I will wait to see what is being produced otherwise.
Should time allow, I will be looking at some of the 2 1/2 liter grand prix cars.
Some photos below. Kits come with glass, lenses, no drivers, sometimes decals and/or photoetch, etc. Please feel free to contact me concerning the availability of any of the kits.
